Last week, we learned that one of our major funding sources - one we’ve successfully received from the Province of Ontario, year after year - was cut outright.
This was due, in part, to major budget cuts from the government of Ontario that reduced the total envelope from over $50M in 2022 down to $19.5M this year.
We are not alone in this, and have been working with industry advocacy groups to address it.
At this point we are trying to appeal to the Province and the City to see if they can help us reach the minimum required budget to produce the 2023 Geary Art Crawl on our previously announced dates of September 23 & 24th.
What can you do to help?
